Well Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry this is the first we are starting things. But the truth is we are in between faculty advisors right now. So I have been trying to figure out what to do about that. We really can't do anything wihtout one.

The other thing, is as most of you know much of the exec officers are graduating. That means won't be around next year. What I thought we could do about this is have elections early in the semester. This way the new people and the old people can start co-running and by the end of the semester the New people will be in complete leadership. Just because we are so new and what not. I am open to suggestions.

So look for signs we will have a meeting, not this week. But probably next week. Think about it you want to run. If you are interestered e-mail me at rhfrank@ilstu.edu!

P.S. I am looking for one but preferably two assistant stage managers for the show I am directing this semester. It is a full length show it's called "A Piece of My Heart" and auditons are Wed. Feb 4th from 8-11 and callbacks are Fri. Feb6th from 6-9. Rehearsals start Feb.16th and the Show dates are Mar.31st thru Apr.3. If you are interested or know of someone please let me know!

BAKE SALE

OK well, I turned in the sheet for the backe sale. The guy who is in charge was supposed to call me on Friday to tell me if things were ok, and he never did. I am going to give him a call on Monday. He is not in the office all the time. I will let everyone know when I have word! Have a wonderful break!

Meeting Tomorrow

Hi Everyone~

We are meeting tomorrow to dicuss the end of the semester/holiday bake sale and the 50/50 raffle. This meeting shouldn't last to long.

I will not be there I am taking the GRE in Peoria, but Courtney will run the meeting. If you have any questions let me know! I hope everyone has had a good few weeks!

50/50 Raffle

I just got an e-mail from the NSCS (National Society of Colligate Scholars) I am apart of that RSO. In the e-mail they were asking people to sell raffle tickets for the 50/50 raffle.

We now know a bunch of other RSO's do it. So I think we should get a move on it. Is anyone opposed to a 50/50 raffle?

We Can Make A difference

Hi All~
Just a reminder to bring your Boxed goods to the theatre office all the week. Until noon on Thursday!

Please announce it your classes so maybe we can get departmental support.

Don't foget...
Saturday is the Haunted House! So come help or come throught it!
Saturday is also the Improv Mafia's Triple play! SO go see Katy and Brian and the rest of the Improvers past and present perform!

Sunday is Face painting day. As soon as I get them I will post the coverage! If you have any questions e-mail me (until we get the comments sorted)

UPDATES, UPDATES, and more UPDATES

Hello Everyone~

Updates to us getting the Van...It's a no go. We do not qualify in any way for it

We are waiting to hear back from concessions.

The BAKE SALE....
We did so well!
I would like to thank Micki and the Fundraising commitee for organizing everything. It was all so put together.

Also, We all owe ourselves a round of applause for all the backed goods. We had so many and all of the baked goods went. We still have some store bought goods left over, but we are just going to bring those to the meeting as treats on Fri. I don't have offical numbers, but we made somewhere around $280. Once Katy adds it all up she'll announce the total at the meeting.

We will have a meeting on Friday. Hopefully it won't be that long so spread the word.

Again I thank you. What a way to introduce ourselves to the community. I was a great sucess. See you all Friday.

RECAP of FRI (10/10)

Hello all,
I apologize for my absence this weekend. I want to thank all of you for working so hard! I still have not heard from Don, but once I do I will let you know.

Courtney and Antonello informed me of the changes to last week. We will dicuss everything this week and hopefully have definite answers by Fri.

Just a reminder...Execs...We have a meeting tomorrow Monday 10/13 at 5:30 in the theatre Building...Room TBA!

Update from Friday's meeting
I am waiting to hear from Don about everything. Once I do I will let you know.

There will be a meeting this Friday @3. We will arrange the back sale. We will start working on things for the Highschool workshop.

We are going ahead as if we have permission. If things change we will take them as they come.

As for the bakesale I am going to look into getting the table in Stevenson Hall from student life in case we can't do it in the APL. Unless you all think STV is a better place.

There are fliers in the APL about the haunted house Kiana is in. If people want to get together and all go together start thinking about days.

I will not be there this week. I am going out of town on Thursday night. Courtney and Katy will be running things. We will meet and talk about the meeting so we are all the same page.

General Meeting: Friday OCt. 10@ 3 pm in 308
Bake Sale Wednesday Oct 15 location TBA

If you have questions please leave them as comments and they will be responded to as quickly as possible. Please check the website as often as possible for updates, meeting times, and rooms.
Also, if you cannot not make it to the general meetings and you still want to be involved all of our events will be posted on this website. Get in touch with that committe chair and volunteer your time. If you want to be involved there is always a way!

9/28- 2-3 The CPA needs ushers. If you have and hours dress in black and white and head to the CPA for the Wind Symphony concernt. (This is for the ISU student lost in Iraq)

Officers Meeting- The time has been decided 1:30-2:30 in Fridays
There is a meeting this Friday Oct 3rd- room TBA

General Meeting- The time will stay from 3-4 on Fridays. Come whenever you can or check the website for minutes.
